Contouring// ft Seventeen Contour & Highlight

A few weeks back I did one of these posts featuring the Hoola Broonzer so as I like contouring and have mentioned this product in a haul I thought I would post about it.

The Seventeen Contour and Highlight kit comes with as expected two powders, one to contour one to highlight which you can use together to get defined cheek bones and jaw lines. 

I honestly didn't expect much from this kit as it is only something like £4.99 but it is pretty amazing. 

I haven't tried the highlighter but as you can see above the contour powder does a great job. The above photo does look a little patchy but that's because of my fake tan, aaaaaah, doesn't always go to plan ahaha. 

I would recommend picking this up as I think it's a nice drugstore find.

Dirty Dancing//

So yesterday me and mum went to see Dirty Dancing the musical as I brought her the tickets for Christmas, technically sorta brought myself a present there to ooooo haha. But it was AMAZING!!! It is one of my very faaaaaavourite films so seeing it come to life was magical.

They even had a special dirty dancing cocktail which was laaaaaaavly. 

We made a day of it by going for lunch and doing a little bit of shopping. Cannot pop to the bullring without a little visit to Victoria Secret now, that would be criminal. 

I love days spent with those who mean the world to me, can be hard to focus on being happy when things around you aren't always that great so I cherish every moment I enjoy.

HD//

So I have been growing my eyebrows for a while and finally was happy enough to go get them HD'd!! It was only my first treatment so will take a few months to establish the wonder brows it is already amazing the difference to my face it makes.

If you are unsure of what is meant by HD brows it's just a combination of tinting, waxing, plucking and threading. You have to get them done every 4 weeks but eventually when mine are fully grown in I will be able to maintain them by myself by just waxing and plucking. 

Already my brows look 10x better but when they're fully grown back and slimmer and more precise they will hopefully make me a lot happier

I am a very self conscious person as I don't have a very high level of confidence in myself and my eyebrows caused me a lot of extra worry so you can understand how excited I am to maybe finally end up content with them, yayay *heart*

Grown Up//

On Friday the 15th I had my leavers day at sixth form, very weird to think the routine I have had in my life for 14 years is now almost over. 

I am fully ready to leave however and will not struggle to let go it was just emotional to think how many people who I have seen everyday for the past 7 years and those I met the past 2 years will be able over the place come September. 

It has been a very tough two years indeed but I am grateful for the challenge it put me through to show me I can handle everything. I have changed so so much and well and truly had an amazing social circle and made so many memories with those it brought me close to.

My school held a BBQ for us and the lads in my year organised a huge football match to commemorate two years together. After my whole gang went down to a local pub, the weather was bliss alcohol flowing and good company resulted in a wonderfully chilled afternoon.

Percy & Prada//

Happy day to you,

I always forget I am subscribed to Elle Mag so when it arrives every month it's like a little unexpected present and I especially enjoy when they come with little samples. 

This month came with a Percy and Reed miniature hair product, I have wanted to try something from them for ages and the fact it is a volumising treatment makes me even more excited.

Also how cute is the advertisement for the new Prada perfume, the card opens to a 3D flower that is scented with the new Prada Candy Florale. Smells gorgeous.

Races//

As it is one of my aunties birthdays next week my closest family all pilled in a mini van and went to the grey hound races last night.

Those places always have the best atmosphere, suspense and excitement mixed with lots of food and alcohol creates a wonderful Saturday night. 

I am always a bit worried when it comes to either dog or horse races as they can get really hurt, it can upset me. But where we go the dogs run one race which lasts maybe over a minute at max, they aren't put out if they aren't up to it and if they get hurt they have vets standing by. In 13 races only 1 dog had to be carried off and he turned out okay. They place also heavily back rehoming for retired dogs, I think they're ethical okay. 

I won £8.60 as I chose a winning dog, wooooo!

FRESH START//

A healthy start to the day ensures that it's going to be a good one, so I always start mine of with a some amazing fruit or a yoghurt or porridge. Today I had this yummy plate of mango, raspberries and banana with my usual mint green tea *heart eye emoji*

I needed a big breakfast to fuel a whole day of revision, booooo. But I feel up for the fight with all my natural energy!!

This is literally the queen off all mascara. Go. Buy. It. 

Hydrocortisone cream-

This is a WONDER product, my life saviour. I've had acne, I have rosacea, I have eczema, I've basically had it all and that cream is the only one that corrects it all. The dream cream, legit.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Concealer- 

Amazing. Literally the cream of the concealer crop. Nothing comes close to the magic of this wonderful beauty item.

Diesel Fuel For Life for her- 

My smell, my thing, basically me in a bottle. So many empty bottles of this lie around in draws and always a new one to continue the irreplaceable epitome of the me scent. 

Simple Cleanser- 

Removes every ounce of makeup and grim without breaking me out. Basically a God sent. 

Nivea Essential Lipbalm-

Because it's the best in the business when it comes to Lipbalm to apply all day long. Girls gotta have soft lips 24/7. 

Nivea essential Lip Butter-

Basically a deep moisturiser for your lips, best bed time remedy. 

Lo'real Paris Thickening shampoo and conditioner- 

If you have very long naturally straight hair like myself you need these two products. It gives life.

I wore this beautiful longline blazer to one of my friends 18th last week and truly adore how it looks. I have waited for an occasion to put an outfit together to make this the focus, obviously being myself not straying from my monochrome ways this involves all black.

These are soooo itchy to wear but I figure something out because they are so flattering on.

I brought this two sizes larger because I plan on wearing it off the shoulder with pretty bralettes under, looks lovely the trousers too.

I AM IN LOVE. literally literally in love. This is just the perfect piece for warmer weather, I seriously just adore it.

The prettiest shoes ever ever ever ever!!! I work there so discount made them a little £16. Look so much more!!

Contouring // ft Hoola Bronzer

HAPPY MAY...

I love a bronzed and defined face, one of my favourites for evenings and really flawless makeup is Benefits Hoola. I think everyone loves this bronzer, mainly because its matte and so blendable. Even my oh so pale self can make it work. It is also great if you want  a multi use product, I mainly use it for extra bronzing as it can be a bit heavy for day to day contouring however I sure do love using it when going out at night!!

Here is a picture of the wonder product at its best, it looks crazy amazing. I really was proud of how it turned it out that night ie why there is a picture ha ha.
